The Dodge Charger has been recently redesigned and we are eagerly anticipating the new, 8th generation SIXPACK internal combustion engine version sometime in 2025. Some industry sources mention that the company moved up production timelines last year, and the new combustion engine model will be arriving sooner than people thought, by Summer 2025. People on forums appear to be excited for the new Charger; even though as of now there is no V8 option, the 3.0-liter twin-turbo Hurricane inline-6 with 420+ hp seems to be quite capable and is piquing the interest of the community. 

LaunchCTRL1 is doing the legwork to bring all the best performance parts for this new generation of Chargers to future owners. The EV version has already been announced and is hitting dealer lots now after a bit of a delay. Since this generation is new, aftermarket manufacturers have not yet developed products. However we think that the popularity of the combustion engine variant will prompt manufacturers to start product development. 

Typically, it takes manufacturers 6-12 months to develop aftermarket products. With this being a totally new platform, if the combustion engine units start to enter the market in June / July 2025, expect aftermarket parts to surface around December 2025 and January 2026. 

We went to check out the new Charger Daytona EV at our local Bay Area dealership. We've add some photos to this post. We were impressed by how the vehicle looked, its digital Fratzonic engine sounds, and its finishes. As far as what we’d to modify the new Daytona EV and the upcoming SIXPACK, we would add a front lip / chin spoiler, lower the vehicle by 1”-1.5”, and add a rear diffuser and wing. In particular, the headlights and taillights pay homage to classic Charger cues which we love and would want to keep stock.
